President's Update

11/2/2017: As announced during the High Holy Days, we have signed a Letter of Intent with Temple Beth El of Northern Valley, in Closter, to take actions towards the merging of our two congregations to create a single Jewish community in a new location under a new name. Since then, we have made a significant amount of progress. Click here for the latest information.

9/21/2017: At Rosh Hashanah morning service, our temple president, Lee Anne Luing shared what we learned from our TBO Voices Campaign and the steps we will be taking to ensure a strong future for our congregation. Read the statement.

 

Comedy Night is Back!

Annual Passover Community Seder

Friday, March 30th, at 6:00 p.m.

All congregants of TBO, thier friends and families are welcome to celebrate the frist night of Passover as on community!  Please bring your family Seder plate.  We will supply everything  you need to put on it!  Click here to reserve your place at the Seder table.

 

Jewish Ethics Study Group

Every Wednesday, 12:00-1:00 pm

Join Rabbi Noah for a weekly exploration of relevant and controversial issues in Jewish ethics.  We will take on ethical questions from current events, as well as classic issues in medical ethics, business ethics, and more  Feel free to bring lunch!

 

Volunteer An Hour to Share your Passion and Brignten the Day of Local Seniors!

Each Tuesdsay and Thursday, Temple Beth Or opens its doors to a local senior citizens program.  TBO is calling on volunteers to donate an hour (11:15 am-12:15 pm) to lead a discussion, make a craft, or give a talk to this lively group of 15-20 engaged and interested seniors. 

All topics and activities are welcome! (Crafts, history, music, current events, or any other interest you'd like to share)  Supplies and audio-visual equipment are available.
