SHOFAR KIDS: Yom Kippur - Wednesday, October 12th, 9:00 am A High Holy Day experience for young children (up to 2nd grade) and their families. Led by Rabbi Noah, Morah Anat, Shofar Kids will begin with a musical, interactive service introducing the key themes of the High Holy Days.The service will lead into a hands-on holiday activity. Shofar Kids has been designed to provide a memorable, meaningful High Holy Day experience for our youngest children and their families. These services are open to the community. FAMILY SERVICE: Yom Kippur - Wednesday, October 12th, 2:00 pmA musical, accessible service for children and adults.Rabbi Noah, Morah Anat, and Moreh Shawn, will lead an informal, participatory service, explaining and exploring the meaning of the important High Holy Day prayers and traditions. The Family Service is ideal for children in 3rd-7th grade and their families, but it is welcoming and appropriate for children and adults of all ages Family Services are both OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY at no charge, but Community Tickets are required. Let's Get Ready for Mitzvah Day! Sunday, November 6thOn Mitzvah Day,we will be creating Blessing Bags. These bags will consist of some basic supplies - toiletries, water, food to meet the immediate needs of homeless or temporarily sheltered people.The bags we create will be donated locally to the Oasis Shelter for Women in Paterson. Download the list of items we will be collecting between now and November 6th and can be dropped off anytime you enter TBO. Please consider these items as you shop!!
